This past fall, I reviewed Wibbly Pig -Playtime With Wibbly and was delighted to hear that a second Wibbly Pig DVD is set to be released on January 24, 2012!
Wibbly Pig -Adventures With Wibbly
This DVD includes 5 episodes full of dancing, singing, and imaginative play with Wibbly Pig and his friends: Tiny Pig, Big Pig, Spotty Pig, Scruffy Pig, Twin Pig 1 and Twin Pig 2.
Wibbly Pig is a favourite in our house and is especially loved by two-year-old M. Young children can relate to the adventures that Wibbly takes using his imagination, such as a search for Wibbly’s missing toy Pigley. Or, in another episode, Wibbly and his friends imagine the toys in a messy playroom are planets in outer space as they creatively clean the room! As a parent, I think Wibbly Pig is a great choice for toddlers and preschoolers (plus I don’t find it annoying in the least, which is always a nice bonus when it comes to children’s television).
