It’s midnight and I’m wrapping things up around the house after a wonderful afternoon/evening at CBC Live: A Kick Off to Culture Days. We were there specifically for the @KidsCBC Vancouver Twitter Party! Unfortunately, my cell phone couldn’t get reception from our location inside the studio, so I wasn’t able to tweet live from the event; however I still want to share some highlights!
Other bloggers and I had the opportunity to chat with Jennifer Burkitt (Executive in Charge of Interactive Content for Children’s & Youth Programming at CBC) and Kim Wilson (Creative Head of Children’s & Youth Programming at CBC). Our children were treated to cupcakes and a guest appearance by Patty Sullivan and Mamma Yamma from Kids’ Canada!
I’m very excited about the initiatives CBC is planning with regards to their programming and interactive website; moreover, my kids and I are looking forward to being sounding boards for new ideas as part of their Digital Team!
