Green Bean Baby is a Vancouver-based Canadian company that is committed to creating high quality organic clothing and accessories. Their goal is to address the growing concerns of an increasing number of parents who want to purchase Canada-made organic clothing for their babies and toddlers -Green Bean Baby is making a positive difference in terms of health, the environment, and safe working conditions within the textile industry. The Green Bean Baby website describes why you should consider choosing clothing made from organic cotton for your baby.
I had the opportunity to put an infant sleep sack from Green Bean Baby to the test. Their Organic Cotton Flannel Sleep Sack for Spring and Summer has been wonderful for E, who falls asleep better if she has the freedom to kick (versus being bundled in blankets). It is wonderfully soft on E’s skin, plus I love how the gender neutral colours and simple design can be used for either a boy or girl. I also found the design very practical: a flap covers the top of the zipper to keep it from poking the baby in the face and the zipper unzips from both the bottom and top, making midnight diaper changes much easier. E has slept in this product almost every single night since she was born.
If you’re looking to support a local, environmentally conscious, mom-owned business when buying baby clothing and accessories for your family (or as a gift), I highly recommend Green Bean Baby!! I know that I will definitely purchase from Green Bean Baby in the future.

I love the fact that it zippers from both the top and the bottom. We used sleepsacs with DS and so many of them didn’t have that feature and it’s so handy. Love it!
The zipper makes it so much easier to change E in the night without fully waking her up! I didn’t realize how important that feature actually was until I tried it
It is organic and made it Canada…..WONDERFUL!
